Stock markets, the world over, have been volatile the last few months. Fear of a rate hike by the Chinese and US economy uncertainties have got stocks going in for a roller-coaster ride. But two commodities are basking in the sunlight.
Gold and silver are shining like never before. While the yellow metal has risen almost 26% since the start of 2010, its poor cousin silver is up an appreciable 69%.
On Monday, gold rebounded in the international market, following China's decision to refrain from raising borrowing costs. India's silver traders picked bargains for a second session on Monday afternoon as prices steadied in the afternoon, though some traders awaited better deals to stock up for the wedding season.
